U S A
Lost and disillusioned punk painter Trevor wants to be like Rene Magritte. Unable to create, he sells out to a religious group, taking a commission. After bumping into a strange tall man wearing a bowler cap while in the park, he is given a magic wallet. He then meets Karen, but blows his chance with her because of his fear. He creates the painting and finds that he is changing. No longer a punk, his tattoos disappear, his hair is no longer dyed and he finds that he has lost himself. He reaches out to the tall man with the bowler cap, but finds more questions than answers. He is told of the Tall man's friend Floyd, who had once possessed the wallet and it gave him his greatest dream: wealth beyond compare. The Tall man had envied it and Floyd gave it away to him out of loyalty and friendship. But the tall man found that it didn't make him happy. he suggests that Trevor remember who he really is. Trevor finds himself in the alley, unable to remember what 'Happiness is.' Floyd finds him and suggests that he start at the last place he expects it. Trevor has a surreal dream where he realizes that Karen is his muse. He gives Floyd back the wallet and finds Karen in the park where they first met.Trevor finds true love and finally sells a painting, a portrait of Karen.
